The Court by CoDE Pod Hostels is a converted Jail and Courthouse right on the Royal Mile in Edinburgh.

Many of the original features of the building have been incorporated into the design of this unique hostel. You can stay in one of the capsule beds in the old courtroom or spend the night in a jail cell!

Beneath our building we discovered the remains of a close that used to run from the Royal Mile down to Cowgate. This space is now used for local beer and whisky tasting sessions.

You can also stop by for a coffee in the cozy cafe on the ground floor of the building.
