A magical romantic location on the western edge of Skye, Colquhoune’s Byre is nestled within a small crofting hamlet accessed by a single track road winding through mountains and offering panoramic views of Dunvegan Head and, on a clear day, the Outer Hebrides. Famous for its considerable variety of flora and fauna, dolphins, whales, basking sharks, seals and sea otters are often sighted in the surrounding area. One of two self catering holiday cottages available to rent all year round, this property is set within enclosed shared grounds with its own private parking. Colquhoune’s Byre has an outdoor seating area overlooking the sea, an ideal place from which to watch the sun set and enjoy the romance. An idyllic peaceful location which with the influence of the Gulf Stream often enjoys relatively mild winters, however a wood burning stove and storage heating are available just in case!

Ideal for Honeymooners and lovers of all ages in an idyllic setting where you can watch the sun set over the sea.

Ground Floor:
Open plan kitchen and sitting room with an impressive, traditional stone fireplace with wood burning stove, shower room with WHB, WC and tiled shower, heated towel rail. Bedroom with four-poster bed.

High quality linen and towels are provided.
Fuel for the wood burning stove can be purchased locally.
