Conval View is a modern, spacious and warm property enjoying elevated, superb views towards forests and the Conval Hills & Ben Rinnes (2500ft). The property is situated near the picturesque villages of Aberlour (2mls) and Dufftown (4mls) in the heart of world-famous Speyside whisky distilleries/salmon fishing/hill walking countryside.
The property is perfectly positioned for a stay for a few days as a base to enable you to visit some of the many distilleries (over 50 close by!) in the area or a visit to the beautiful World Famous Moray Coast (Voted in the worlds Top Ten) a short drive to the North from Aberlour & Elgin.
We offer two luxury Suites:-
BENRINNES SUITE (24m2) Panoramic views, Super King Size Bed, (En Suite comprising bath/shower/wash basin/WC), large built-in wardrobe, chest of drawers, dressing table, 2 armchairs, glass coffee table, 2 side chairs, table with coffee/tea making amenities, hair dryer & TV, centrally heated and free WIFI throughout the property.
Two Extra Beds can be easily placed in this room for a group of people or family wishing to share.
A small refrigerator is located on the landing for your wine/beer/water etc. (For use of both Suites)
This Suite can be booked separately or together with the 'Family Suite' for a larger family/ party or group.
FAMILY SUITE - Comprising of 2 bedrooms, One kingsize Bedroom & One Single Bedroom, Private Lounge with two arm chairs & a three seater sofa and coffee table with TV, Private Shower Room/WC/wash basin. All bedrooms have panoramic views. Central heating is provided throughout the Suite
Both bedrooms have coffee/tea making amenities, WIFI, & hair dryers. A small fridge is located on the spacious landing for your wine/beer/water etc (For use of both Suites)
This Suite is ideal for a family or people traveling together but wanting separate bedrooms.
The Family Suite has a private entrance at the rear of the property (If required) with private staircase leading up to the King Size bedroom & private lounge. This staircase can also used for accessing the garden and outside seating area. You are still most welcome to use the main house entrance!
This Suite can be booked separately or together with the Benrinnes Suite as above.
There is a well equipped Utility Room on the Ground Floor with Washing Machine/Tumble Dryer/Sink & overhead dryer (Small charge is made for use of these facilities). Muddy walking boots can be placed in the garage to dry. There is also a small WC/Wash basin off the Utility room for the use of our Guests if required.
The Breakfast Room is on the ground floor and a delicious Full Highland Breakfast, Freshly cooked to order or comprehensive Continental Breakfast is served between 7am & 9am. If an earlier breakfast is required please ask and we will be happy to meet your schedule. A Menu is placed in all bedrooms but can be ordered in advance the evening before.
Please NO Smoking anywhere inside the property but smoking is allowed outside the house not near open windows!
Please feel free to walk around in the garden and enjoy the views & fresh mountain air. Weather permitting!!
Conval View is our home and we live on the ground floor and will be there if you need us for anything but please respect our private lounge & kitchen etc. The spacious Suites upstairs offer very comfortable accommodation with a high degree of privacy & comfort for our Guests.
There is plenty of Parking space for up to 5/6 cars but please not in front of the garage doors as we will not be able to get out to buy your fresh breakfast produce!
You are guaranteed a very warm welcome from us both (Jamie & Carol) and we really want to make your stay with us very special and a memorable part of your Scottish holiday.
We charge £65 for the First Guest & £20 for any further Guests (Same for both Suites) including breakfast.
