Corrarie is a detached, modern house in traditional style, set in glorious countryside on the sandy shore of Loch Stornoway, on the west coast of Scotland off the Sound of Jura in Argyll, 11 miles from the fishing-port of Tarbert (shops, hotels, golf, restaurants).
Standing in its own half-acre of fenced garden (patio, furniture), it is double glazed and delightfully furnished and presented and is a most comfortable home for all seasons.
Just 3 miles away is tiny Kilberry with its award winning inn. Tenants can walk the hills, fish the hill-lochs nearby (permits available) and stroll through the fields past the ancient Standing Stones to the safe sandy beach where otters and seals can frequently be seen.
Ferries ply from Tayinloan to Gigha (visit the Gardens), from Kennacraig to Colonsay and Islay (visit the distilleries!), and from Claonaig on The Mull of Kintyre to the Isle of Arran. All in all this is a stunning location for beautiful sea- and landscapes.
