Cottage of Aird offers a relaxing escape with a delightful rural aspect and is less than 2.5 miles from the bustling Highland Capital City of Inverness.
From Cottage of Aird you can enjoy country walks, a round of golf, mountain-biking and if you are lucky spot roe deer, badgers and other local wildlife. Inverness is the start/finish point for the hugely popular NC500 driving route. Historic Culloden Battlefield and the mysterious Clava Cairns are a few minutes drive away and both featured in the drama series 'Outlander'. Fairways golf course is almost on your doorstep and Castle Stuart Golf Links is only 15 minutes drive. If you're looking for more, the adventure capital of the Highlands, Aviemore is a 30 minute drive away in the heart of the Cairngorms National Park. It offers many outdoor activities and winter sports. The 60 mile Caledonian canal through the Great Glen has beautiful walking paths and is easily accessible with the recent opening of the West Link. This road also enables guests to easily access to the A82 Glasgow-Inverness via Fort William avoiding the city centre.
