Coynachie Guest House is surrounded by young native broadleaf trees Oak, Silver Birch, Rowan, Juniper, Scots Pine, Alder and Hazel. Easy walks through the woods and wild flower meadow are lovely to explore whatever the seasonseasons. Beyond Coynachie lies The Clashindarroch Forest, which is one of the best snow holding forests in the country and has many Nordic skiing, walking and mountain biking trails.
Easy access to Whisky, Castle (Clan Gordon) and Coastal trails and National Trust and Historic Scotland properties. Monthly Farmers Markets; Portsoy Boat Festival; Highland Games; Ceilidhs; Keith and Turriff Agricultural Shows, Huntly Hairst Food Festival all offer lots of local produce and local entertainment.
