Close to the historic picturesque village of balmaclellan with the bustling marketing towns of castle douglas dumfries and kirkcudbright all within easy reach. Ideally located for the seven stanes mountain bike trails and walkers can explore the southern upland way. Situated close to the loch doon dark sky observatory and the galloway activity centre which caters for all age groups. Water sports enthusiasts will be delighted with the nearby loch ken ski school perfect for water skiing wakeboarding banana boating and with many more fun activities to enjoy. Enter the property into the hallway and through to the light and bright lounge with TV/DVD and wood burner perfect for cosy nights in after a day out exploring the local area. Continuing through the hallway you will find the spacious well-equipped kitchen with electric oven and hob fridge/freezer microwave dishwasher washing machine and large dining table ideal for family gatherings. Next door is the bathroom with bath and WC followed by a double bedroom with lovely front garden views. Heading up the stairs you are met with the twin bedroom to your left and the master bedroom with king-size bed and stylish en-suite shower room with WC to your right. Both bedrooms enjoy wonderful rolling hill countryside views over the pretty front garden. Venture outside to the large beautiful mature gardens with seating areas to the front and rear the perfect place to enjoy al fresco dining and evening star gazing perhaps with a nice glass of wine or good local ale. You will also find a large dog kennel with run and secure bike storage in the garden too. There is ample off-road parking available at the side of the cottage.
