Craigmara is a fabulously renovated and charming mid-terrace stone cottage situated in the village of Lamlash, just a short stroll from the beach at Lamlash Bay. With its wood burning stove, wonderfully sunny front garden, from which visitors can look out to Holy Isle, and its beautiful furnishings, guests who stay at Craigmara will find it is the perfect place to relax and enjoy their holiday on Arran.
The house itself offers very comfortable accommodation for three to four people and is very well equipped and newly renovated with attention to detail throughout. It is wonderfully light and airy and visitors can enjoy sun all day in the enclosed front garden or, indeed, the warmth of the wood burning stove during the evenings.
With very easy access to all that the Isle of Arran has to offer, Craigmara offers the ideal location to base your holiday; from beaches, scenery, wildlife and walks to to the numerous historical sites, as well as the mountains and distillery in the north. There is also a golf course in Lamlash as well as an outdoor activity centre which offers pursuits such as sea kayaking and canoeing.
For those looking for a more leisurely stay, both Brodick, Lamlash and Whiting Bay have a wide range of gift shops, galleries, restaurants and specialist food shops and there are beaches all around the island, particularly in the south. There is also a supermarket in Lamlash just a short walk from the house, as well as numerous tearooms , restaurants and coffee shops.
