Rockcliffe's quiet sandy bay is great for kids rock pooling while adults can enjoy cliff and forest walks or biking. A boot room and large lockup facility for equipment and a purpose built bike wash area is provided. A short drive takes you to a large sandy bay at Sandyhills, golf courses at Kippford, Colvend and Southerness, small towns for eating out, ice skating, swimming pools, parks and places of historical interest such as the famous Sweetheart Abbey and Threave Gardens.
