Only twelve miles from Oban, two comfortable chalets situated on the southern shore of Loch Creran with splendid views across the loch towards Appin and the hills of Morven beyond.
The chalets are situated close to the waters edge on the outskirts of the village of Barcaldine. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of city life and take some time out to relax in beautiful scenic surroundings then this is the place to come. You only need to step out onto the timber decked balcony and you will see an abundance of wildlife, if your lucky you will catch a glimpse off the Otters that can often be seen on the shore only a few meters from the chalets.
If you fancy some exercise then you can set off from the chalets on foot or on your bike and you will find miles of marked routes through Barcaldine Forest, also the "Caledonia Way" (Natioal Cycle Network Route 78) passes through the village en route from Oban to Fort William.
A twenty minute drive will take you into Oban or if you want to go north less than an hour will take you to Fort William at the foot of Britains highest mountain, Ben Nevis. Just out side Fort William you can take a trip up the Mountain Gondola and enjoy a drink or somthing to eat in the Snow Goose Restaurant situated at 2132 feet above sea level.
