Cringletie a historic 28-acre estate originally established in 1666 and features a listed Walled Garden from that era. The existing house – designed as a private residence by renowned architect David Bryce – was built in 1860, replacing the original house. It became a hotel in 1970.
Today it is a luxurious Country House Hotel with an award-winning 2 Rosette restaurant, situated just outside of Peebles, 30 minutes south of Edinburgh, in the Scottish Borders.
The Restaurant at Cringletie is considered one of the Scottish Borders' top restaurants serving relaxed quality dining. Our Head Chef ensures his menus reflect the changing seasons with locally sourced produce.
