This is a B-listed property in Fife, on the banks of the Firth of Forth, just south of Dunfermline, with spectacular views across a SSSI to Bo'Ness, Grangemouth, and Kincardine. Visitors will also have access to a large and unusual walled garden.
There are few houses, and the noisiest things around are generally the wind, and the birds!
Despite this, Edinburgh, Stirling, Glasgow, and Perth are all within an hour's drive; and the area has many and varied attractions to offer.
One double room (private bathroom) on the first floor, and one twin room (en-suite) at ground level. Both rooms are spacious and light, and the one on the first floor has wonderful views.
Access to lounge/TV room on the first floor.
Tea/Coffee facilities in both rooms.
Cooked and/or Continental breakfast served in the kitchen-dining room. Subject to the whim of my free-range hens, your eggs will have been laid in the above-mentioned garden!
You will probably need a car. It is possible to manage without; but the nearest bus stop, in Torryburn, is about 15 minutes walk away.
Directions and arrangements for arrival will be provided with booking confirmation.
There is a ample free parking space on the driveway.
By email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or mobile phone (07786 404198).
There are two friendly resident cats; which is the main reason we cannot take dogs.
There is a no smoking policy anywhere in the house.
This is a small, friendly B&B within a private home. It should appeal especially to gardeners, bird watchers, and nature lovers in general; but whatever your reasons for visiting, I will do my best to make you welcome, and enjoy your stay.
