The Cross Keys Hotel is superbly situated in the heart of Kelso's picturesque French-style cobbled square. The present hotel was built in 1769, but in other forms a Cross Keys hotel has occupied this site since the earliest days of Scottish coaching inns. An ideal base to enjoy all that the Scottish Borders has to offer, the hotel is situated in a peaceful corner of Scotland yet still within easy reach of Edinburgh and Newcastle, perfect for business and pleasure.
We provide a warm and friendly welcome to our guests and excellent service and cuisine from attentive staff. Our menus reflect a flair for tasty modern cuisine, prepared using the finest local produce with daily changing specials in our Restaurant.

As you might expect in a building with such historic roots, our hotel bedrooms are different shapes and sizes which adds to their individual character.
Rooms vary in size and outlook but are decorated to the same comfortable standard. There is free Wi-Fi access in all our bedrooms and complimentary mineral water and toiletries. Our Classic rooms are large spacious rooms, many of which are capable of sleeping a family of up to 2 adults and 2 children. We can also offer a 2 bedroom family suite with interconnecting rooms and a shared bathroom.
