For the quieter afternoons or cosy nights in both of the sitting rooms feature wood burning log fires. Starter basket of logs kindler and firelighters, seasonal only from September to June. Outdoors guests have access to a spacious private woodland garden with outdoor furniture and a soft cover summerhouse. Enjoy relaxed afternoons soaking up the ever-changing vistas. Plenty of space for children to play.
Just a short walk away is the private beach area and surrounding paths to explore while you can enjoy spectacular views across Kilbrannan Sound to Arran. The woodlands is a haven for wildlife, so look out for deer, red and black grouse and many birds of prey.

The sheltered east coast of Kintyre, has fabulous views over to Arran. Places of interest include the heritage centre, the tannery which produces a range of sheepskin products and the 12th century Saddell Abbey in the quaint fishing village of Carradale and the extensive ruins of the 13th century Skipness Castle near the village of Skipness.
Crossaig Farm House sits on the east coast of Kintyre peninsula, 14 miles south of the idyllic village of Tarbert where you will discover an array of cafés, bars and local art galleries.
From the Tarbert harbour you can catch one of the regular car ferry crossings to Portavadie and explore the Cowal Peninsula. The beautiful islands of Arran, Islay, Gigha and Jura are easily accessible from nearby ferry ports. Head south for the Mull of Kintyre with white sandy beaches and magnificent golf courses, or north to Kilmartin Glen steeped in history and archaeological sites. The Campbeltown Distilleries, and Inveraray Jail and Castle also make for great days out. It's also an easy day trip to Oban, one of the seafood capitals of Scotland.
