Crubenbeg House sits in peaceful countryside and offers you unequalled views from every guest room.
Built in traditional style in 1989, at the foot of Cruben Beag Hill, where 2 farmhouses had stood for 200 years, we are 4 miles south of the picturesque village of Newtonmore.
We are, however, just 2 mins off the A9, making it easy for you to explore this outstanding area. Monarch of the Glen Country is on our doorstep, as are the superb Highland Folk Museum, the excellent Highland Wildlife Park and the superb Wolftrax Mountain Bike Centre.
Close at hand is everything that The Cairngorms National Park has to offer - mountains, heather moors, forests and estates, lochs, rivers and peaceful glens, the abundant wildlife, walking, climbing, cycling and of course, skiing.
Also in easy reach are Whisky Distilleries, the RSPB Osprey Centre, horseriding, watersports and off-roading to name but a few other activities.
What We Have To Offer.
Inside Crubenbeg House, whether you prefer a cosy double bed, a super-king, twin beds or our fabulous King-size 4-Poster, you'll find that each spacious bedroom is individually decorated, comfortably furnished and equipped with everything you need to relax.
3 rooms have luxury en-suites, the other has private facilities.
Our ground floor room, has been designed to offer luxury guest accommodation whilst also meeting the needs of guests with disabilities - a dedicated parking space, ramped access to a private entrance and a level route through to the rest of the house.
After a good night’s sleep, you’ll join our other guests round the antique dining table for breakfast. In addition to the juices & cereals, there’s the infamous “Crubenbeg” Porridges, fresh fruit, yoghurt, ham & cheese, kippers or, of course, a freshly cooked breakfast with free-range eggs, George Gow’s local sausages, haggis & black pudding and Irene’s home baked bread. Our pancake breakfasts are to die for and we offer a great choice for Vegetarian Guests - other dietary needs catered for too!
5 nights a week, we also offer you the option of enjoying one of Irene's wonderful, home-cooked evening meals, comprising a small appetiser, a main course, dessert or cheese and coffee, choccies etc. (Sorry, but we don't offer dinners on Monday or Tuesdays, Irene's nights off, nor in July or August.)
Whether dining or not, you can relax in the lounge with a wee nightcap or two from our selection of wines, spirits, malts and local beers.
Well-behaved dogs are welcome, as are familes with youngsters aged 12 years and over. We are a non-smoking establishment and whilst we have free WiFi in all guest bedrooms, our lounge and dining room are mobile phone, tablet and laptop-free zones!
We look forward to meeting you soon.
