The two caravans are set in approximately 2.5 acres of natural oak woodland combined with landscaped gardens, bounded by a 6 ft.high deer fence. From it's elevated position, beautiful views are enjoyed to Ben Resipole and Loch Shiel.
Ardnamurchan is well known for it's unique splendour and is one of the most unspoilt regions in the Highlands. One can visit at any time of year and be enthralled by the natural beauty of the area. There is also an abundance of wildlife - otters, golden eagles, seals, porpoises, pine martens and red deer (which can be spotted a short walk up the hill to the back of the caravans). Nearby are some wonderful beaches for which the West Coast is renowned, fed by the balmy Atlantic Gulf Stream, namely Dorlin and Ardtoe.
From the adjacent hills of Moidart can be seen the Hebridean Isles of Rhum, Eigg and Muck. The nearest village, Acharacle, is 4 miles away where there is a mini-supermarket, post-office with the Blue Parrot cafe attached, a bakery, fish and chip shop, two hotels/restaurants serving delicious home-cooked food, outdoor shop and garage suitable for repair work (fuel can be obtained from Strontian, Mallaig and Fort William. There are also a doctors and dentist nearby. The caravans are 35 miles west of Fort William.
