There are spectacular views of the mountains, including Ben Lawers, the highest mountain in Perthshire, making Killin a popular center for hill walkers and giving easy access to over twenty 'Munros'. Killin lies just inside the northern boundary of the Loch Lomond & Trossachs National Park offering wonderful scenery and wildlife. At the heart of the village is the famous Falls of Dochart, one of Scotland's favourite beauty spots.
Dall Lodge Country House makes the ideal base for those keen on outdoor pursuits: cycling, horse riding, fishing, walking, hiking, golfing, climbing and bouldering. Mountain bike and canoe hire are available locally. Tennis courts, bowling and putting are available in the adjacent park and there is an eccellent 9 hole golf course with many other courses nearby. For those looking for something more relaxing you will find peace and quiet in the surrounding glens.
