Del Mar B&B
A lovely, newly refurbished B&B with one family bedroom sleeping up to three. You will be given a warm welcome by the experienced proprietors Tricia and Allan who previously ran a successful B&B in Tain, just across the Dornoch Firth.
Del Mar B&B is situated just north of Dornoch with views over the surrounding countryside, of the Dornoch Firth and the Moray Hills beyond. It has one family bedroom that can sleep one, two or three people, and has a large family bathroom en suite with a power shower. Tea/coffee/hot chocolate making facilities are provided in the room and there is a flat screen TV with DVD player.
Breakfast is Continental and can be eaten either inside or outside on the patio (dependent on weather). There is ample parking and storage for bicycles.
Dornoch is an excellent stopping off place if you are on your way to or from Orkney with the ferries to Orkney only two hours drive away. It is also a central location if you wish to explore the northwestern and western Highlands, returning each night to a comfortable room in lovely surroundings. The town of Dornoch is well worth a visit as well, with a beautiful cathedral, good shops, a superb beach and of course, the famous Royal Dornoch Golf course.
Tricia and Allan will give you a warm welcome to their home.
