Douglas Cottage has lots of character as it's one of the old steam railway cottages in Boat of Garten built for workers on the line and still retains many of its original features however it has been cleverly and beautifully restored to open out to 21st century proportions.
Douglas Cottage sleeps up to 6 people in 3 spacious bedrooms. It includes lots of fabulous contemporary touches - such as a statement wooden open staircase - which sits alongside its gorgeous period features including the original stone hearths. There is a comfy living room with its wood burning stove as well as a snug room which is perfect for reading and playing games. The kitchen is large and welcoming, with a breakfast bar as well as a round dining table seating 6. In the warmer months you can throw open the French windows to the garden and enjoy drinks and dinner alfresco. It’s fully fenced so safe and secure for your children and pets.
