Should there still be work to do, the wooden dining table can double up as a desk. After a day exploring, the lounge is an invitation to relax with its Danish wood-burning stove, comfortable furniture, well-stocked book shelves and family games.
Wifi is available throughout the cottage as is central heating, should the weather turn chilly.

The Findhorn Bay with its seals and ospreys, the Findhorn beach from which you may be lucky enough to see the Moray Firth dolphins, two pubs,an award winning bakery, two shops, a post office, cafes, the Moray Coast Trail and water sports activities are accessible in minutes on foot.
The world famous spiritual community and eco-village at the Findhorn Foundation is less than a mile away and in Forres the distillery, Benromach, is one stop on the renowned whisky trail. There are also numerous golf courses and sights of historical interest within a radius of 25 miles. Aviemore and Loch Ness are approximately 50 minutes away by car.
A public bus service connects Findhorn to the local towns of Elgin and Forres. Forres is on the main train line between Inverness and Aberdeen. The nearest airport is Inverness which is reachable by bus, train or car.
Findhorn and the Moray coastline are perhaps not as well known by visitors as the Scottish west coast and highlands but they are more than worth a visit.
