On the lower floor there is a bedroom with twin beds (2 singles) , and a bathroom with an overhead electric shower.On the mezzanine level there is a king sizebed above the kitchen/sitting room, through which a shower room and single room are accessed. The single bed can be folded out to singles.This is small and perfect for children only one adult, although two is possible. Smart TV, , a washing machine and dish washer and iron and ironing board. Beds are prepared for your arrival and towels are provided. Any length of stay is welcome.Arrival day is any day.
It is a wonderful area, steeped in history and olde world charm. University buildings, Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle, Holyrood, The New Parliament, Old cobbled streets and closes. Festival Theatre, wonderful restaurants, book shops, antique shops and coffee shops on the door step.

Location
Drummond apartment is in the heart of the Old Town - very central making it a perfect base to explore Edinburgh.
The Grassmarket is full of great restaurants, offering pre-theatre deals and outdoor dining so you can sit and soak in the atmosphere. The University buildings are located around this area too. Edinburgh is a great city for exploring on foot- stroll up to Bruntsfield to the lovely unique shops, cafes and bars there, or sunbathe and picnic in the Meadows. Holyrood Palace is a 10 minute walk away, overlooked by Arthurs Seat- a hearty walk to the top will reward you with wonderful 360 degree views of the city rooftops and spires as well as the surrounding countryside.
General
Supermarket - a Tesco is a minute's walk away on North Bridge. There is also a Sainbury's at Quartermile, next to the meadows.
Black Medicine is handy for coffees, a read at the news papers, good snacks and smoothies.
Blackwells is a wonderful book shop and it has a cafe nero - a perfect place for a time out!
Shopping - Boutiques in The Grassmarket, Bruntsfield, Morningside and Stockbridge. High Street shopping along Princes Street and George Street. The exclusive Multrees Walk and Harvey Nichols at St Andrew's Square.
Gardens - Princes Street Gardens and The Meadows are both nearby. The Botanical Gardens are well worth a visit and are about a 30 minute walk through Edinburgh's centre, through the Georgian New Town. These are free, with a charge for the Glass Houses. Enjoy a meal at the fabulous new Gateway Restaurant.
