You can be assured the warmest of welcomes from Nick and Nini Burnett to Drumnacree House.
This beautiful Victorian mansion is situated in large mature gardens and dates back to the Nineteenth Century; with only 4 guest bedrooms we can afford our guests the utmost attention and hospitality. We are currently refurnishing Drumnacree House to a luxurious standard with an eclectic mix of antique and modern furnishings.
While we offer four completely differently designed bedrooms, we hope you will find them all equally luxurious and comfortable. Our star room is our sleigh-bedroom with it’s large en-suite rain shower over a roll top bath and underfloor heating.
All bedrooms are overlooking our beautiful gardens hosting an abundance of birds and our resident red squirrels.
Our breakfast is served in a magnificent open plan Victorian lounge / dining room with hard wood floors, high ceilings and large bay windows with original wooden shutters, overlooking the gardens; here our guests can also relax in our plush oversized settees in a serene and peaceful ambiance after a long days exploring all of Perthshire’s delights.
Drumnacree House is situated in Alyth, in the heart of the Perthshire Highlands and with easy access to and from the A9. Dundee is only 16 miles away, Dunkeld, Pitlochry, Perth are all within easy and short traveling distances.
Alyth is the perfect location for any golf enthusiast, as there are dozens of golf courses within an hour’s drive. For example Carnoustie which will be hosting the 2018 British Open Championship.
