In the little crofting hamlet of Drumbuie, between Plockton and Kyle of Lochalsh in the north-west of Scotland, Drynoch is a typical and traditional Highland cottage, expertly renovated to make a charming holiday home.
With the owners’ working steading behind, and open views to the front it stands in the little village ‘street’. Inside, the open plan accommodation is light and airy, chic, modern and very comfortable.
From Kyle (3.5m, all facilities) the toll-free bridge crosses to Skye, giving guests a simple means of exploring this wonderful island. Nearer still is picturesque Plockton, with its palm-fringed shoreline and yachts bobbing in the bay. Iconic Eilean Donan Castle, the Applecross peninsula, and climbing in the mountains of Torridon are just some of the further attractions of this beautiful area.
