This charming, traditional cottage is peacefully situated in the crofting hamlet of Duirinish, one mile from the sea, near the lovely village of Plockton (2m, shops, pubs, palm trees and boating facilities). Cosy and comfortable, it is one of a tiny group of cottages next to the Allt Duirinish burn which Highland cattle frequently visit, with expansive views and breathtaking sunsets over Raasay and the Cuillin Hills.
Four miles north of Kyle of Lochalsh (shops, hotels, golf, bridge to Skye), it is in that gorgeous stretch of Scotland’s north-west coast between Loch Alsh and the Torridon mountains that offers wonderful walking, sailing, kayaking, fishing and seal watching trips and is within easy reach of Skye and such famous places as Eilean Donan Castle, Applecross, Ullapool, and the gardens at Inverewe.
