A stone cottage with incredible views towards the mountains and also across Uig beach.
It is a short walk (600metres) to Uig Sands. The house has been in the same family for years and retains many original features such as oil lanterns and wood-panelled rooms.
It has recently been renovated with a new kitchen, appliances and bathrooms.
3 x double bedrooms, 1 x small double, 1 x child's single.
There is a large family bathroom upstairs and a useful shower room downstairs. A small conservatory/sun room is the perfect place to watch the sunset over the beach.
There are 24 white sandy beaches in the area and plenty to see and do. Boat trips take visitors fishing and sightseeing from Miavaig pier (5mins away). The Uig community shop is just 1.2 a mile away. A good tearoom and museum are less than 2 miles away. Uig Sands is famous as the place where the Lewis Chessmen were discovered. Surfing, sailing, walking, eagles, seals, otters....the list goes on!
