Set in peaceful surroundings with the most breath-taking views, a short walk to amenities and on the doorstep of Scottish island hopping, Dungallan Country House is the perfect spot for your next break.

Our refurbishment in 2022 set to reinstate some well-deserved sumptuous, understated charm and glamour to Dungallan. In addition to 7 bedroom refurbishments, 4 new suites were also created with the addition of opulent roll top baths and underfloor heating (the honeymoon suite has a private sauna).

In the main house, the bar, restaurant and library were also treated to the tasteful renovation experience. This included a wall to wall bookcase in the library, the perfect spot to relax after a long day, tastefully upholstered comfortable and inviting seating in the bar to enjoy a tipple of your choice and the fabulous restaurant with breath-taking views over Oban Bay and the hills beyond. For those whisky lovers, the selection of over 190 whiskies will not disappoint.

Golf breaks are also available. Guests are welcome to use a set of Dungallan's Taylor Made golf clubs and be driven to the local course of Glencruitten Golf Club for a complimentary 18 holes (home of Robert (Bob) McIntyre). Dungallan also sponsor Taynuilt Golf Course and Dalmally Golf Course.

Dungallan Country House can offer exclusive use of the house for weddings and events.

We offer a delicious home baked afternoon tea with a 3 day notice period as everything is homemade on site.

Our carpark is equipped with an electric car charging point.
