Our cosy cottage used to be the old post office in the village of Salen. This holiday let is an annexe attached to our house Dungallen, with its own drive and entrance. The garden is next to open ground with views to the mountains beyond.
Rooms are mainly on one level with a step from the kitchen to the sitting room. There is wi fi available.
The layout is suitable for most people with a double bedroom en suite at one end and a family room with a double and single bed also en suite. the kitchen and living room are between giving privacy for each bedroom.
The modern kitchen is equipped with an electric cooker, dishwasher, and fridge, with small freezer compartment. There is a door from the kitchen leading out to the garden/parking area.

The cottage is in easy reach of facilities such as cycle hire a well stocked Spar shop, post office, boat trips, mediterranean restaurant, Church, café, pub, local suppliers, filling station and garage.
Tobermory the island’s main town, situated at the North of the island, is approximately 20 minutes drive from us. Tobermory has a Co-Op, very popular bakery, a variety of gift shops, restaurants and 3 pubs.
Set in the centre and narrowest part of Mull, Dungallen is perfectly situated to discover Mull’s natural heritage, Aros Bay is a less than 5 minutes walk from the cottage, a great place to watch for otters, seals and wading birds and on occasion dolphins.
Salen is on the main bus route from the ferry ports of Craignure and Fishnish to Tobermory.
