Originally the Estate Factor’s house and the castle laundry in the 19th century, this charming cottage dates back to the early 1700s.
Situated on a small promontory directly below Dunvegan Castle’s ramparts, this historic 17th century cottage enjoys stunning views of Loch Dunvegan and Dunvegan Castle.
With a small private garden to the rear, Laundry Cottage can accommodate five guests (one double, one twin and one single bedroom). Apart from one step, the floor layout is all on one ground floor level. The property also features a spacious open plan kitchen, Wi-Fi, living room and dining room, as well as a recently refurbished shower room.
N.B. Due to Laundry Cottage’s close proximity to the castle and the seal trips operating from the castle jetty nearby, at the height of the season this area can be very busy by day but completely calm and tranquil from 5pm onwards when our guests can explore the castle gardens in blissful isolation.
