East Brae Cottage is conveniently situated on the Dumfries to Stranraer road, providing an ideal stop-off on your way to the ferries at Cairnryan. The property is also ideally located for exploring the Food Town of Castle Douglas, with its individual shops specialising in food and local produce, and the bustling market town of Dumfries, where there are plenty of shops, restaurants and museums, as well as a good theatre. There are many beautiful beaches within easy reach along the Solway Coast, and the nearby Threave Gardens provide a fantastic day out.
