Evas Howe has a separate bedroom with a double bed, a fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher, a shower room with underfloor heating and heated towel rail. The living room has patio doors leading out to a decked patio, perfect for enjoying the sunshine or watching the sunsets.  It is also well placed for star gazing or seeing the northern lights as it is surrounded by dark skies.

The property has electric panel heaters and a small wood burning stove for the chilly winter nights.  The property is served partially by renewables and hopefully will soon be almost 100% off grid.

It is perfectly situated for exploring Orkney and its dramatic scenery and the world renowned archaeological sites. It is also ideal for bird watching with an extensive range of birds which frequent the areas around it.

Situated only a 10 minute walk from the village of Dounby with its small supermarket, Post Office, craft shop, or an evening stroll down beside the Loch of Harray to the Merkister Hotel for a drink or a meal at their highly recommended restaurant.
