Fair Isle Bird Observatory and Guest House is comfortable and a unique place to stay whilst visiting the island.
Fair Isle Bird Observatory and Guest House provides a great base from which to explore Fair Isle, whether you're here for the birds or to enjoy the amazing scenery and learn more about the fascinating social and cultural history of the island. There are plenty of opportunities to get involved with the work of the Observatory during your stay, including going out with the wardens in the morning to learn about ringing and see birds in the hand, seeing puffins up close on a guided walk with the Ranger or watching Storm Petrels being ringed at night if you're here in the summer.
We provide full-board, en-suite accommodation, with a visitor centre, small gift shop and comfortable lounge-bar with great views over the Havens and Sheep Rock open to both guests and non-residents alike.
