It is situated just off the A915, the main route from Kirkcaldy to St. Andrews.
It is approximately 45 minutes by car from both Edinburgh and Dundee and is just
15-20 minutes from Kirkcaldy and Glenrothes, both of which offer excellent shopping facilities.
Leven itself lies on the Fife Coastal Path, which runs from Inverkeithing to St. Andrews and beyond.
It is a very popular holiday activity with walkers/hikers from all over the UK and Europe. In the
vicinity there is a leisure centre with swimming pool, nature walks, golf courses, pubs, restaurants
and and take-aways.There are also many reasonably priced taxi firms and a local bus service into town.
Fantasia is open all the year round. We offer a choice of rooms, one double
en-suite/family room with an extra single bed, one twin room and one single room.
All rooms are centrally heated, have Freeview TV/DVD , tea and coffee-making
facilities and hairdryer. Guests are welcome to use a separate lounge in which to
relax after a day out. There is comfortable seating and a large flat-screen TV, hi-fi,
board games etc. Leading off from the lounge is a large patio area with tables and
chairs where guests may smoke, and/or sit in the evening to socialise. Also there is
a hot tub which is available for guests' use. There is a newly installed steam/sauna,
shower/bath cabinet with massage facility in the main bathroom. We have a
varied breakfast menu with vegetarian options. Evening meals are available on
request and should be ordered as soon as possible in advance. Guests can, of
course, order a take-away/delivery meal from the local Chinese/Indian restaurants.
Alternatively, there is a microwave for guests' use, should anyone wish to heat
up a ready meal. A wood-burning stove is due for installation in the guests'
lounge in April 2015.
