The Monty Python team looked for the holy grail at nearby Doune Castle, but if they had travelled a few miles west they would have discovered this treasure of a cottage instead.
This traditional looking 19th century cottage forms part of a U-shaped courtyard building attached to the main farmhouse, with a southerly aspect. Situated in a quiet rural setting, though being close to Stirling, it also has access to an outdoor tennis court.
Inside, there is a large spacious living room, with dining area with table that can seat 8 people, with comfortable seating area with wood burning stove, a seperate games room with table tennis table, kitchen, two twin rooms with en-suite bathroom, one twin room with en-suite shower room, with one twin room with separate shower room facilities. All the rooms are on the ground floor, with a ramp internally at the front entrance. The main section of the cottage has oil fired central heating, with the living room and one of the twin room sections with electric heating. It has been modernised and refurbished to a high standard. With gardens to the front and the farm to the rear, this is a delightful cottage to enjoy a rural holiday.
