Welcome to Feawell, a 1 bed-roomed semi detached cottage, which was fully refurbished in 2015.We are situated 1.5 miles outside Stromness with outstanding views over Orphir and Scapa Flow. Feawell offers peace and quiet and total relaxation.

We have a large vegetable garden and usually have fresh fruit and vegetables when in season, which are FREE for our guests. Fresh shellfish are also available from our creelboat upon request (charge applicable).

Just 1.5 miles away is Stromness, with it's old world charm of narrow winding streets and closes, Stromness offers the visitor a wide selection of interests from the Pier Arts Centre , Stromness Museum or Ness Battery . If you are feeling more energetic, there are sea angling and bird watching charters available from the harbour or scuba diving courses and many beautiful walks with fantastic scenery. In addition, there's an 18 hole golf course situated in Stromness for any golf enthusiasts, see Stromness Golf Club.

There are many local events held throughout the year which attract many visitors. The folk festival in May, the blues weekend and Stromness Shopping Week in July.

Ten minutes drive away there is loch fishing on the Stenness and Harray Lochs and the Heart of Neolithis Orkney is very close, where you can visit Skara Brae, Maeshowe, Ring of Brodgar and Standing Stones of Stenness plus many more attractions further afield.

For those on walking or cycling holidays transport from and to the ferry terminal in Stromness can be provided.

Storage facilities are available for bikes canoes etc.
