Feolin Farm House is a former Scottish farmhouse, now converted into a large self catering holiday house in a stunning secluded position above the eastern shore of the Isle of Jura. The house overlooks Small Isles Bay and the Scottish mainland beyond with the seashore a short walk away.
The house consists of four comfortable bedrooms and three bath/shower rooms and would sleep 8 + 2 children comfortably. All bed linen and towels are provided. There is a travel cot and highchair if needed.
The kitchen is very well equipped and includes a dish washer, washing machine and tumble dryer.
There is a television with a variety of freesat channels and a DVD player and a selection of books, DVD's and games. Vodafone and 02 are the main mobile phone providers with the best coverage on the island.
The village of Craighouse is nearby where the Isle of Jura whisky distillery is located, together with a shop, post office and restaurant about a mile along the foreshore.
The island is one of Scotland's hidden gems and is home to over 5000 red deer and only 200 residents.
Ideal for family holidays yet a peaceful retreat for nature lovers, walkers and birdwatchers too.
Getting there is part of the adventure! Ferry or fly to Islay then local ferry from Islay to Jura.
