Fern Cottage is a traditional stone-built cottage which stands in its own garden on the outskirts of the pretty little village of Braemar in Royal Deeside.
This is a cottage that seems to enfold you in a warm and welcoming embrace as you arrive and is a great place to enjoy a relaxing family holiday. It has undergone extensive renovation and extension and now offers generous accommodation with a large sitting room with traditional open fire and a spacious dining kitchen with doors opening out to the pretty patio seating area. There is a handy double bedroom and shower room downstairs and upstairs are three further charming bedrooms.
The grassy garden is ideal for children and pets to run and play in and with the hill immediately alongside you can set off of a day’s walk without even getting into the car. As the cottage is right at the end of the road there is almost no traffic except the odd visitor coming up to the duck pond that kids are sure to love.
