The large open plan kitchen/living area is a wonderfully sociable room where everyone can spend time together. This light filled room is a perfect space for relaxing with deep comfortable sofas, a dining table large enough to seat 8 and a newly fitted stylish kitchen with everything needed for holiday self-catering. The downstairs double bedroom boasts a stylish ensuite shower room and there is second family bathroom. The patio furniture in the enclosed private garden is a great spot for sitting out in the summer and enjoying alfresco dining.
Finisla is not only ideally positioned close to the beach and ferry but also just a short walk to Brodick’s wide range of shops, restaurants, bars and cafes giving you the freedom to leave the car behind. Brodick, being the largest village on the Isle of Arran, is a popular holiday destination and a perfect base from which to explore and enjoy this delightful Scottish island. The island is rich in scenery with many magnificent views and glorious beauty spots to be discovered and the soaring peak of Goat Fell, Arran’s largest mountain, is a favourite destination for walkers and climbers to witness the wonderful vista from the summit. Arran is also perfect for the keen golfer with no fewer than seven golf courses! Wildlife is in abundance – seals can often be spotted along the shoreline as well as the occasional pod of dolphins and otters swimming amongst the seaweed. Deer graze happily on the moorland and glorious red squirrels thrive across the island. There are many types of birds to be seen, including the chance of a golden eagle.
