An eco house in the quiet township of Melvaig, the house is timber clad with a stunning 'bow' front giving one hundred and eighty degree panoramic uninterrupted view out over the sea to Skye and the outer Hebrides. Eco credentials include log burning stove heating, triple glazing, thermo dynamic hot water and a heat recovery system along with incredibly thick insulation - all providing a cosy place to hopefully watch dramatic sunsets but also the all too often gales sweepwhich in from the Atlantic!
There are two double bedrooms, a bathroom and utility room with washing machine and drying area on the first floor along with a spacious landing/separate seating area. On the ground floor is the third double bedroom, a second bathroom and a large dining/sitting room with a fully fitted kitchen off the dining area. Up to three dogs are welcome at an extra charge of £20 per stay and the house is accessible for wheelchairs. Fionncroft is a working croft with Chickens, sheep, pigs and vegetable growing - produce available in season. All fuel and electricity, linen etc provided in the rental price. Minimum stay three nights with a discount for booking of seven nights and over.
