Fulmar Cottage is a 2 bedroom self catering accommodation in Northton, South West Harris in the Outer Hebrides. The kitchenette area within the living space is equipped with a dishwasher, fridge and a combi-oven (which also doubles as a microwave). You will find the living area equipped with comfortable furnishings, a smart TV, Wi-F-, Blu-ray player, a cosy gas stove and a dining area. The living space enjoys breath taking panoramic views towards the hills on north Harris and over Scarista beach, where you can watch otters play. The main bathroom, which is adjoined to the double bedroom, includes a sauna, perfect for warming up after a walk, wild swim (or surfing session!), a bath and separate shower. The double bedroom includes a king sized bed and dual aspect windows. The second bedroom is a twin with an en-suite shower and WC. The hallway contains a washing machine, separate tumble dryer and small box freezer. Special features are the murals expressing the Hebridean wildlife and landscape including a St Kilda mural and a spectacular wave in the living space, all painted by the talented previous owner. Fulmar Cottage is set back from the Northton settlement accessed by its own road, and sits on its own ¼ acre plot with private parking.
You will find plenty to do, whether you want a relaxing or a more active holiday. The nearest beach, Northton beach, with its stunning views and magnificent sunsets, is within a 10 minute walk (there are 4 further beaches within walking distance). Croft 36 and Temple Cafe are within a 5 minute walk for coffee lovers or those wanting a cup of warming lobster bisque after a walk along the beaches.
There is a small outside play area for children, outside seating and picnic table, an outside tap for rinsing wetsuits and fishing rods, drying facilities etc. The property sleeps max. of 4 persons. Harris is a paradise for wildlife lovers, walkers, anglers (fly fishing or sea fishing.
