Located on the breath taking north west coast of the Isle of Lewis with panoramic views to the Atlantic Ocean & dramatic coastline towards the Butt of Lewis Lighthouse. Offering four Island inspired en-suite double bedrooms a King, Double & two twin doubles all with complimentary drinks, mini fridge, cotton bedlinen & luxury towels & toiletries. A choice of a healthy or hearty delicious Galson farmhouse cooked breakfast highlighting local produce. Two characterful relaxing lounges & a beautiful stone walled garden with outdoor seating. Established over 30 years ago as a licensed guest house and now part of a working croft breeding blackface sheep.

Each of our 4 double en suite bedrooms are uniquely decorated with a twist of Harris Tweed & furnished to a high standard with super comfy beds, complimentary organic tea's, coffee & biscuits, mini fridge, luxury towels, toiletries & quality bedlinen. We also have two characterful relaxing guest lounges with views into the garden and towards the sea.

Enjoy our hearty or healthy Galson Breakfast choice in our cosy breakfast room.

On Sunday evening we offer an indulgent Sharing Platter for two using the best Hebridean & Scottish produce you may choose from our fine selection of drinks to accompany your meal. Please book ahead.

A traditional dry stone wall encloses our pretty garden from which you can enjoy panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean & dramatic coastline towards the Butt of Lewis Lighthouse.

We also offer our self catering option for two people in Crofters Retreat. This unique quirky bothy is ideal for those who want to relax & holiday at your own pace. It has a super comfy kingsized bed, HD TV, Wi-Fi, sofa, separate fully equipped kitchen & shower room with luxury towels & toiletries. There is a outdoor seating area & parking.

Walks from the doorstep take you to the beach & miles of coastal walking connecting with nature and breathing in fresh sea air rewarding you with sandy coves, rugged coastline, seabirds, wildlife & perhaps a golden or sea eagle soaring above or even a glimpse of the otters returning from the sea.

Embark on a day discovering this beautiful area of Lewis with its many golden beaches, the stunning cove at Port Stoth & the pretty harbour at Port of Ness. Watch the dramatic ocean waves crash against the rocks at the Butt of Lewis & seabirds or catch a sight of dophin or whales that may pass by. Birdwatchers can see rare arctic birds at Loch Stiapabhat nature reserve. Visit Ness Museum, historical & ancient monuments along with many of the locations from The Lewis Trilogy by Peter May. You will find the Gealic language is widely spoken in our local area along with a strong sense of culture and heritage.

Finish your long summer days by watching the summer sunset over the ocean from our garden and in wintertime the nights make way for some of the best dark skies which on a clear night you may experience the northern lights & see the milky way in all its glory.
