A secluded, picturesque two storey house with wood burning stove and open fire for winter or glass patio doors that open onto the walled garden for summer. Nearby there is Vogrie Country Park, Rosslyn Chapel, Temple Village, The Scottish Mining Museum and, for biking enthusiasts, Glentress Biking Trails all within easy access. Local pubs, restaurants, cafes and shops and spa are all a short drive away. An 11 mile trip to Edinburgh's first class art galleries and museums, the capital's eclectic mix of restaurants and bars plus its boutique shopping experience all adds up to a great day out. Alternatively fishing, horse riding, estate tours or a private tour of the house can be booked on request.
Arniston Estate offers four properties for holiday lets. Gardener's House is a charming, secluded property which can sleep up to 8 people. It is ideal for families or large groups.
The ground floor comprises of a sitting room with SKY TV, DVD, an open log fire and a sofa bed. The Dining Room with wood burning stove can seat up to 8 at the table. The spacious kitchen has all mod cons including a microwave and dishwasher. Large glass doors open onto the patio in the walled garden which is a wonderful outdoor space. A further downstairs loo and utility room are located off the kitchen.
Upstairs is a double room with an en suite shower, a family bathroom, twin room and bunk room.
All linen, bath towels, fuel for fires and Wi-Fi are included in the price.
