Gariob Beag is about 7 miles west of Lochgilphead in Argyll - an old stone threshing-barn which has been excellently converted and comfortably furnished to make a truly delightful holiday cottage. In its own spacious garden, it is just 4 miles from Crinan and 6 miles from Tayvallich, with views of the outstandingly lovely West Coast countryside.
Wildlife abounds; beavers, recently reintroduced to Scotland, can be seen less than a mile from the cottage. There are seals, otters, deer, badgers, red squirrel and pine marten. Birdwatchers will spot ospreys, golden and sea eagles and enjoy many small birds that swoop on the fruit trees in the owners' nearby garden. There is horse riding, golf, several good restaurants and superb white sands within a 15-mile radius.
