Bed and Breakfast is in the village of Gartmore near Aberfoyle in The Trossachs and Loch Lomond National Park. Gartmore is 20 miles West of the City of Stirling, and 22 miles North of Glasgow. We are also on the National Cycle Route 7 and The Rob Roy Way.
A modern detached house, Sealladh Breagha, is your home from home during your stay. With unspoilt views across the fields and forest to Ben Lomond, you can watch the hens as they wander about the fields ready to supply our delicious eggs for your breakfast and the lambs at play in the springtime. Bedrooms, dining room and lounge all benefit from this magnificent view.
The accommodation consists of 2 comfortable guest rooms on the first floor. One double room with ensuite shower room and king-size bed, and one family room with ensuite bathroom, super king-size bed plus a single bed and space for an additional folding bed.
Both rooms have TV, DVD player, hospitality tray and guest robes. The lounge has a large TV with satellite channels and an open fire, which our guests are free to use. We also offer books to borrow.
The dining room has outstanding views over our fields to Ben Lomond. An extensive menu is available to start your day well. There are books and leaflets available to help you plan your day.
Gartmore B & B is ideally situated for a great variety of of things to see and do. Local golf courses are situated at Aberfoyle and Callander, with the famous Gleneagles course about 40 minutes away. There are miles of walking, cycling and and hiking routes right on our doorstep in the beautiful hills of The Queen Elizabeth Forest Park.
