Glen Ogle Lodge is warm and cosy enjoying a woodburing stove with open plan lounge/dining area, leading off into the well equipped kitchen. There are three bedrooms; one double, one twin, one bunk room and a family bathroom. The property is heated with the log burner and electric heaters
Glen Ogle Lodge is set on a development of five lodges, to the rear of the cabin is a private, grassy area and a decked area with seating. There is off road parking for two cars. You are a short walk from the village itself, which has a shop, post office, two hotels with bars and restaurants. Located in the village of Lochearnhead and sitting within the Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park the lodge is in the perfect location to explore Perthshire, and the outstanding beauty of the Trossachs.
For the outdoor enthusiast there are a number of Munros nearby, and for walkers and cyclists the sustrans route 7 cycle way can be accessed easily, with great walks through Glen Ogle to Killin, or towards Balquhidder and Strathyre. For the outdoor enthusiast there are a number of Munros nearby; Ben Vorlich, Ben Lawers, Ben More are within easy reach.
On Loch Earn you may enjoy your own boat, water-skiing, sailing, fishing, or just sitting watching the Osprey dive for fish during the summer months. Fishing permits can be bought at the local shop.
Golf at St Fillans, Killin, Comrie, Crieff and Callander is within 30 minutes drive.
Callander is a 12 mile drive, passing Loch Lubnaig and the Falls of Leny; the Falls of Dochart at Killin are just a 10 minute drive away. Enjoy the journey past Loch Voil and Loch Doine to the renowned Monachyle Mhor, fine dining restaurant.
In the winter months we are forty minutes drive from Glen Coe Ski Centre.
From the lodge we can hear the deer during the winter months. During the spring you can see the deer locally, and look forward to spotting the red squirrels too.
