The village of Inchree is a red squirrel hotspot and are often seen in our garden. In the Forestry Commission car park (about 300 metres from Glendevin) there is a viewing area where there are feeders containing peanuts for the squirrels. A wide variety of garden birds are also seen their helping themselves to the peanuts. Roe deer can sometimes be seen in our garden and in the surrounding area.
The Forestry Commission car park is the start of woodland and waterfall walks. The waterfall is very impressiveand you may see groups of people canyoning down these falls. You can do it yourself by contacting Vertical Descents which has its office beside the Forestry Commission car park.
