Gorrenberry House sits on its own in a secluded rural spot on the Gorrenberry Estate, 8 miles from the village of Newcastleton in the Scottish Borders.

Gorrenberry House is a substantial 19th century farmhouse sitting on its own in extensive gardens in a secluded rural spot near Newcastleton (8m).
Gorrenberry is ideal for a family gatherings or group holidays with the choice of the sitting room or snug to relax in, a spacious kitchen with large range cooker and a dining conservatory to gather in for meals. There is also a games room with pool table and upstairs are five attractive bedrooms (two double and three twin). Outside outbuildings house a table tennis table - there is even a stable block so you can bring your horse along!
There is hill walking straight from the door and permits are available for fishing on the Hermitage Water. Newcastleton has a supermarket, golf course and pubs/eateries. There are activities including rock climbing, archery, canoeing, gorge walking and even zip wiring at Whithaugh Park (10m). You can also hire bikes there to try the excellent Newcastleton 7stanes mountain biking trails.
