As implied by its name the Half House is small but beautifully formed! Accommodates 4 but also ideal for a couple. Be prepared to duck when going up the stairs and you will be rewarded by fabulous views from the upstairs bed-sitting room!
The cottage overlooks the glorious St Mary’s Loch in the Scottish Borders, halfway between Moffat and Selkirk on the A708. The “wow factor” comes as standard! It is in an entirely rural area with magnificent countryside, ideal for outdoor activities.
The Half House is extremely cosy and is never left unheated in the winter so can happily accommodate guests off season. The owners also live in Cappercleuch so any issues can be promptly resolved.
The cottage is available for booking throughout the year (3 night stay minimum).
