Hall Teasses is a wonderful quality and spacious holiday house set in rural Fife. There are peaceful and lovely views across fields and the little loch where you can cast a line for trout. There is a real sense of seclusion here, well off the main road and surrounded by farmland and yet close to many activities and sights.
The house is exceptionally spacious and has the gracious feel of a much bigger house, indeed your entrance through the double height hall with its wood burning stove, instantly create a high expectation that will not be disappointed.
The ‘upside down’ layout takes advantage of the lovely views and the 3 bedrooms – all en suite – have that perfect combination of luxury and welcome. Crisp white linens and wonderful beds make these a perfect spot for a good sleep. Upstairs there is very attractive sitting room with an open fire whilst the large dining room will create a great ambience for meals as well as allow you to entertain in style. The kitchen with its breakfast table is extremely well equipped and indeed the whole house has been carefully thought out to provide a top quality experience.
Outside there are lawns and patio with furniture and BBQ to enjoy the summer evenings. You can walk for miles here as well as take in the many delights of the area. For golfers St Andrews and surrounds need little introduction and the town itself is a delight of restaurants and independent shops. The East Neuk of Fife with its delightful fishing harbours is a “must see” and you are less than an hour to Edinburgh if you want a taste of the city.
This is a truly lovely house for a holiday and priced very competitively for such quality and space. Note that this is a working estate so whilst dogs are welcome they must be kept on lead when near livestock. Whilst you can anticipate seclusion note too that the steadings adjacent to the house are occasionally used by shooting parties mid-September to end January; any access limitations would be advised prior to booking confirmation.
