We are only able to accept Friday to Friday bookings at present. One, Two or three week stays.
On entering the harbour house from the main door you enter into a small entrance hall with a beautiful listed iron stair case where there is space for coats and shoes.

Cosy light room with sea views. Small food pantry and washroom off to the side. Another external door leading into the boathouse and further on to the pier and slipway outside area. Dining room table seats up to 6/8 people.
Fully equipped kitchen with a large range electric hob and double oven, sink, fridge/freezer, built in cupboards washing machine, dishwasher, sink & drainer, iron, ironing board.
Shower and bathroom (downstairs entrance hall)
Small shower, wash basin and WC.
Light spacious room with sea and street views and a King size bed. Benefits from ensuite bathroom with bath, basin and WC and sea views, shaver socket and toothbrush charger. Small area for toddler bed or cot space (can provide on request).
Light spacious sitting room with wonderful sea views. 1 x two seater sofa and 1 x two seater sofa with adjoining chaise. Wide screen smart TV and DVD player.
Cosy room with standard double bed and bunk beds, built in wardrobe, book shelves and small chest of drawers. Street views.
Cosy but spacious seaview room with King Size bed, built in wardrobe and chest of drawers. Dressing table.
Jack and Jill adjoining bathroom to bedroom two and three with sea views. Basin and WC. Shaver socket and tooth brush charger.
2 South End is approached through cobbled streets of Stromness (all accessible by any car/van) with communal parking courtyard area in front of the property (more overflow parking a short distance away). The outdoor area pier and slipway are to the seaside of the property with outstanding seaviews. Small beach directly below the property. There is also a boathouse undercover games area with a full size table tennis table and children's pool table and outdoor dining table.
Sorry we run a no pet policy. Child's booster seat for dining room chair, cot, toddler bed, travel cot, potty, toilet training seat, retractable safety gate, all available on request.
Beautiful walks and beaches along the stunning dramatic coastline overlooking Hoy hills on the door step. Stromness golf course and sailing club and play parks are also on the doorstep all within walking distance.
It is a short five to ten minute walk into the main harbour town which has shops, Coop, Argos bakery, Bay leaf deli, cafes, restaurants, pubs, art galleries, tea rooms, gift shops, library, takeaways, harbour, Northlink and local Ferry terminals to other islands and mainland Scotland and bus terminal.
Stromness museum is opposite the house. There is also a good informative historical blue plaque trail around Stromness. Stromness Museum has all these details.
