The prominent building was built in the early 1900's, it is on the corner of Harbour Street and St Olaf Street giving it an excellent central position. A five minute walk will take you down to the Harbour front and onto Commercial Street 'da street' which is Lerwicks main shopping area and includes a host of cafes, restaurants, bars, banks, post office, tourist office and gift shops. Five minutes in the other direction takes you to Mareel Cinema and Music Venue and the Shetland Museum and Archives. There are plenty of local grocers nearby and the supermarkets are just a five minute drive away.
